Project Overview

The Shiraz–Bushehr–Asaluyeh Railway Substructure Project is one of Iran’s largest transportation infrastructure initiatives, designed to connect key industrial, port, and urban centers in southern Iran to the national railway network. Key Engineering Components

Concrete Bridges and Underpasses A total of 5 major bridges were constructed in this section: Jalalabad Bridge: km 159+332, 213 m long, spans: 6×18 m and 1×105 m Yardabad River Bridge: km 161+980, 224 m long, spans: 7×32 m Tangtab River Bridge: km 173+170, 528 m long, spans: 16×33 m Aymko River Bridge: km 180+735, 119 m long, spans: 3×33 m and 1×20 m Mohkamouyeh River Bridge: km 186+810, 132 m long, spans: 4×33 m

Project Goals and Outcomes

Connect southern industrial and port hubs to the national railway grid Reduce transportation costs and improve freight/passenger safety Enhance sustainable infrastructure across Fars, Bushehr, and Hormozgan provinces Facilitate exports/imports via Bushehr and Asaluyeh ports Create jobs and stimulate economic growth in southern Iran

Planned Railway Stations

Three stations are planned to serve industrial and urban areas: Hanifghena Station: km 165+905 Ebrahimiabad Station: km 177+720 Pit Industrial Station: designed to serve freight and passengers, located ~250 m from the main line
